Nick Leeson will be best remembered as the "rogue trader" whose recklessness on the stock market brought down Barings Bank in 1995. For that he served a sentence of six and a half years in a Singaporean jail.
So can someone please explain why no one is being held accountable for the current financial crisis and why is the British taxpayer once again expected to foot the bill?
Perhaps the British people will now finally wake up!
