Nu Labour's Housing Policy

This appalling situation is not unique, British War veteran Marcus Kilpatrick found himself living rough in the back of his battered Land Rover, ironically just down the road from an asylum seeker Afghan woman and her seven children in a mansion at a cost of £12,458, paid by Ealing Borough Council, with taxpayers money.

Marcus 31, did not find himself on the receiving end of such generosity. After serving in the British Army for 12 years with the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, he left last year to become a motor mechanic lecturer in London, subsequently he lost his job and became homeless after splitting up with his girlfriend. He turned to Ealing Council for help and was basically turned away after being told to find his own accommodation. You can read this report here

With thousand more job losses on the horizon, along with rising interest rates and household bills, we predict a lot more of this to come.
